Washing your roof, your siding, and your windows can actually be quite an involved process to ensure no parts of your home are damaged and are rendered perfectly clean. Often times the type of dirt/damage you'll see over time is significant algae growth, roof runoff, road fallout (hover for definition)Road fallout: Agggregate debris that builds up from passing cars, brake dust, and other materials that builds up on homes and buildings over time., and other various materials that build up over time.

Certain organic and inorganic materials require different chemical treatments to effectively remove, and not knowing which to use can cause serious aesthetic damage to your home such as etching or permanent marks. Knowing when to use basic solutions vs acidic solutions is crucial to a quality soft-washing job for your home.

Soft vs High-Pressure Washing

"High-Pressure" washing, or power-washing– is the practice of using highly pressurized water to blast dirt buildup off of a surface. This is great for certain durable materials with a rough or textured surface, such as stone, concrete, and other aggregate minerals. However, this can cause serious damage to your siding, trim work, and other parts of your home that require a delicate touch. For common home materials, a soft chemical wash is a much better and more effective alternative. For tough-to-remove, thick buildup, hand scrubbing is an extra careful, thorough way to remove the grime.

Your yard and property around your home can be fragile when it comes to soft washing, and the only way to protect them is to properly pre-spray/rinse them thoroughly. This protects from caustic chemical buildup and burning your plants/discoloration of other decorations. Depending on the concentration, spraying while applying surfactant is required to ensure isolated application.

Concrete Cleaning

Hard-to-rinse grime, dirt and algae are always a bear to tackle on concrete surfaces such as sidewalks, driveways, retaining walls, and other pads and fixtures. We have specialized tools to blast away whole stretches of concrete without streaking, lines or ugly variations in texture.
